ok crazy idea here.

since Shoe is a podcast and not a live show, calling in is almost impossible. But, would it be possible to set up a voicemail that could used as a call-in forum that you could use as question and answer segment during the summer hiatus. You could set-up a call in time. review the calls, select a few to play during the podcast and answer them as a part of the show. That way you would be prepared and able to research for the question or comments.

maybe this has been done, but it could be interesting.

another idea. what if you had a guest (shoe member) call-in for the podcast you were recording, there are a lot of people on here with really great ideas and speculations that might be cool to hear.

you are now free to bash my mediocre ideas.

I would like to have an episode or two devoted to the hosts speculation as to what we can expect from season 8 (if there is a season . What they think will happen, what they think should happen, and what the final episode will culminate into. Perhaps have a 2 part podcast. Part 1 speculate and discuss what the first half of the season may bring and part 2 discuss what the second part of season 8 may bring. And then maybe a third episode devoted to what the series finale should be.

I've been listening to the podcast since Chuck and the Krypton Fan Podcast went off the air. I needed my Smallville fix to continue because none of my friends/co-workers/family are anywhere near as big a geek as I am. You guys do a great job and crack me up consistently.

I'll just be selfish and request as many podcasts as possible this summer. No rest for you!

I think talking about and making fun of old episodes is a good idea. Some Shoe2 episodes would be great too.

Maybe SHOE 2 could be the focus this summer(2008)?

I would love for SHoE to make weekly podcasts during the summer, I find you guys incredibly amusing. You always point out and reflect on things that my weak mind failed to grasp on it's own.

As for topics to discuss, speculations on season 8 would be interesting but I also liked the idea of discussing all the superman films as well as the previous seasons of Smallville and how the characters have grown.

I think you all nailed it last summer. If you do what you did a year ago.. it will be awesome (or better).
