UPDATED 3/31/08: Only four of the eight Smallville series regulars appear in this episode.
- "Quest" is directed by Ken Biller, who has not directed an episode since Season Three.

I'm guessing that the four regulars will be Clark, Chloe, Lex, and Kara.

SOme one on the TWoP Forums (*gagcough*) guessed those would be the four mains as well and Craig responded by saying...

three of those four are correct. So my guess is Clark, Chloe, Lex, and Lois or Jimmy. Laura only has two contracted episodes left, and ED and AA have several.

That makes sense as Lois has only been in 8 episodes this season (Bizzaro, Kara, Wrath, Blue, Gemini, Siren, Fracture and Veritas). And Jimmy has only been in 6, I think (Fierce, Cure, Lara, Gemini, Hero and Veritas) but he will be in "Sleeper". So maybe Kara will be absent after her return in Apocalypse (showdown with Brainiac=Kara returning). But shouldn't Lana be out of her trance once Brainiac is defeated in Apocalypse?

No wonder I've felt slightly less annoyed by Jimmy this season! Of course, the Jimmy/Kara pairing was a little unbelievable!

I really didn't think it was that unbelievable...

if only because I know in past incarnations of Superman and Supergirl Jimmy and Kara have been put together...so I could see how and why it could happen.

But that could just be me.

I think Jimmy and Lois should get together at the end of Season 7, then in Season 8 Lois will realize her mistake, only having been with him because he was so funny, and then begin her feelings for Clark-arc.

But...

are you kidding me?

Do you really think that?

Cause I think that would be horrible.

Jimmy's just the goofy side kick...

Just because he's around the same age as Lois now...nothing changes in my oppinion.

Jimmy and Lois are meant to have a bossy sister/annoying younger brother vibe and nothing more in my eyes.

I mean you know if that's what you think then ok, but I just can't see it.
