Oh I am so there with you Elektra. But instead of the Lana character I think I am going to say the Smallville Lana character. Annette O'Toole was okay in Superman 3 when she played Lana.

I would say the live-action Superpup cartoon....I've seen it and it's bad...really bad.

you confused me with the "live-action" "cartoon".

But if your talking about what I feel is the worse Superman thing every, then I agree. Cartoon Network had a cartoon that was all about Krypto. He had some random kid as an owner, he talked, his arch enemy was Lex Luthor's pet iguana. Krypto was a member of a JLA but it had dogs instead of people. Ace (Bruce Wayne's dog) was always around with his arch enemy being Catwoman's cat or the Joker's hyenas. Oh, and you can't forget Streaky the Supercat.

Gotta say, it was just horrible.

Just the thought of a Superman musical is giving me nightmares...

So, I'll go with that.

It's just wrong on so many levels.

Then again it may not be that bad...if it was anything like the Batman Musical in Batman Beyond.

It wasn't a cartoon, sorry.
The one I was talking about was called The Adventures of Superpup
Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Superpup

I think your talking about Krypto The Animated Series on Cartoon Network...which is pretty horrible too.

Yes I was, and I know what you meant now.

I never saw Superpup but i have heard about it. and after reading that Wiki: I may just have to agree with you. Superpup was worse than the Krypto The Animated Series, hands down. At least Krypto didn't pretend to be Clark Kent.

In all honesty, you or I may not like it, but there are some kids who will one day be on the forums remembering Krypto the Superdog fondly. It really does appeal to a lot of little kids that I know.

Thats a good point, it was directed towards young kids. But still...I mean, come on.

I'm ok with that, if someone else loved it and it turned them to loving Superman then it did it's job. I just had a hard time watching it.

And what's worse is that it was a horrid 70s musical with Superman singing in sound effects ("whap" "pow") as part of the lyrics of the songs, and some of the really bad 70s slang as well. Shocked

When Smallville wants to emulate blockbuster movies.
Like.
The Fast and Furious krypo fuel episode. And the Saw knock off.
