Superman Cinema has posted a story outline on what Superman III might have been.

Some additions that were taken out include Brainiac, Supergirl, Lana Lang in a reporter role, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and a super-marriage in the works!

Shocked So Superman 3 ended up being a really good movie compared to this.
