You guys have to read this comic graphic novel if you haven't already. Its a good story. It collects the six issues of Superman for Tomorrow which were best sellers. The storyline was that Superman was off in space doing helping Green Lantern when one million people on Earth disappeared without a trace for good without a trace. One of them was his wife Lois Lane. And for the first tiem ever in a long time Superman goes to a good friend of his called Father Leone whose a priest. Superman retells him the story of what happened and what he went through afterwards. Its a very good emotional story that shows you why Superman really is the greatest hero ever. The vanishing wasn't his fault yet Superman took it personal besides the fact his wife also disappeared. Its the Volume 1 book. I don't know if they have a Volume 2. But its a great book. One of the best moments in the books is when the Justice League besides is asking Superman about something he is going to do concerning the vanishing. Superman tells them to stay out of it. Superman says for this time to make an exception for him. They leave as Batman stops when there gone and says:

" I'm glad your taking it personal"

Batman knows that Superman needed to take it personal so he could help make the world better after what happened and also so he could move on. Also in this book you see a Superman who doesn't play around. Superman tell the elements of Earth that of they even harm Earth he will destroy the Earth and leave it to find a new plant to leave on. Superman was serious and he was ready to do it because Lois was gone with the others. Right now I'm trying to find the second volune with the other issues if they have it.

Here are images from it:

Volume 2 is out as well. I really enjoyed this, due in part because I jumped back on the Superman title at this point after being gone for a while. The art is absolutely outstanding. The story....meh. It's decent enough, but I feel that Busiek and Johns have done a good job with Superman and Action Comics since Infinite Crisis. This is a great visual story though and there is a good fight scene towards the end of Volume 2 that is sweet.

I really didn't like this story. It didn't fit well in the time stream of the comics and the characters acted... um... out of character.
The art is the best part and the whole book looked pretty sweet. Over all though I thought it was a big let down.
