Ok, so anyone who is currently reading Supergirl have any idea what the hell is going on? I am completely lost and this new team has been on the beek for four issues now. Has anything happened, anything at all? How hard is it to write this book? So far, Loeb is the only person that seems to know what this character is suppose to be. I have almost had it with this title.

Peter David had a good run with the Matrix Supergirl. That is all. Good night.

Man... I could go on for a long time about this one. I am a big fan of the Linda / Matrix Supergirl and have every issue that came out including the mini series that came before. I liked the character and in the run of the title they seemed as though they really didn't know what to do with the character then as well. The last story in that book was awesome by the way.
Then this new Supergirl comes along and it seems they are in the same rut. I thought they had sorted it out with the end of the "Kill Kal" storyline but they seemed to have gotten them selves in a jam once more.
So to answer the question... I don't know. And neither do the writers.

I agree. Unfortunately for me, I dont have my collection of Peter David Supergirl anymore Sad Instead I have to read this new one every month. I guess no one is making me buy it, I just use to love the character so much and now I'm afraid I am loosing interest.

I am in the same boat. I don't like the book or really the character right now and I still get the book every month.
And now they are putting Supergirl into the new Justice League book coming out later this year. She will be on a different team with Hal Jordan, Ray Palmer, Green Arrow, Starman, Con-Gorilla, and Batwoman. It's another title I will have to pick up thanks to my annoying compulsion to collect everything on certain characters.

I think I'm the only one who actually enjoyed Joe Kelly's run...well minus the few odd pointless issues. But for the most part I enjoyed it. I just wish he would've given it a decent ending, especially with the cover issue #19 had, the cover enticed me, I was like "=0 this is gonna be good!" but it had nothing to do with the actually story!! I was like "WHAT?!" then the issue was filled with...nothing pretty much. worst ever. almost as bad as the amazon's attack tie in (I must add that the art is that was pretty..blech)

I too don't want to give up...but maybe after all of those "transition" issues it'll finally pick up and give us an actual plot...maybe. I hope so.

supergirl deserves more than this Sad

I hope so as well. If I am going to be spending the money I want a good story. I think she should head out and find Linda so she can teach her how to be a hero. A little shout out to the past can be a good thing.

As much as I love Superman, I think he shouldn't be in her book. Not as often as he is anyway. This will help her develop her own identity. I don't mind them teaming up, but it seems to happen a lot. Maybe they are moving away from this.

I don't mind the occasional team up but it should be her own book. They have done better with this in the current run and have given Kara a good supporting cast. She goes to Batman more than she does Kal and she feels at home with the Amazons. While I don't care for her attitude in the book most of the time they seem to really want to make her a full character and not just a cookie cutter female version of the man of steel.
