Do you think it would be a cool idea to have Smallville comic books that would come out after the show ends, kinda continue the Smallville journey? Maybe rename it as Metropolis, chronicling Clark Kent's journey to Metropolis as Smallville has chronicled his journey in Smallville.
And maybe bring in the characters that they can't use on the show (ala Batman and Wonder-Woman).
I think this would be a great idea. The whole TV-into-comic seems to be a trend now (ala Buffy, Supernatural, Heroes), and I think it would be awesome if Smallville picked up on this bandwagon.

Yeah, in the early days of Smallville, like mid-season 1 and beginning of season 2, DC did release a Smallville comic. But there was nothing to 'em, only FoTW plots.

That model is working famously for Buffy with the season 8 comics. They are planning to give Angel season 6 the same comic treatment as well.
Awesome!!!! I've really enjoyed those Buffy season 8 comics, and I started on the Supernatural prequel. I think they're fantastic.

I think that it would be cool for DC to take some ideas from Smallville to make a new Superboy-type comic. I've always thought of Smallville as DC's answer to Marvel's Ultimate comic book line. Smallville's kind of like Ultimate Superboy.
For those of you that don't know, the Ultimate line of comics are re-interpretations of classic characters by new writers and artists set in a more modern setting. They're also hipper.

I actually have all of those early Smallville Comics, lol.
But the whole continuing Smallville idea would be AMAZING!

I would buy them. Plus the whole trend of doing the "Next Season" comics seems to be catching on pretty good.
I liked the Smallville comic when it was out and was bummed that it was dropped as quick as it was.
There was also an older World of Smallville comic from back in the day that followed the lives of the Kents before Clark came along. It was pretty good. It even had a character named Fordman.
