This series is a gem. If you have never read it I suggest you go out and find it. Many casual comic book readers may be a little leery of the mature themes in this book. What attracted me was the story and the dark humour. There are very few comics out there that have literally made me spit out a drink while reading it. If you are a fan of the book then you know what I'm talking about.

It has everything: Angels, cowboys, a hard-drinking Irish vampire and much more.

P.S. I know this is a DC/Vertigo title, however it is technically still DC!

I have the first book at home but I just have not had the time to read it yet. I can't wait to read it though!!

I fear an HBO adaptation. If not handled right it could be horrible.

The biggest issue would be whether the subject matter could be translated properly.
