but yes, Clark shaving with heat vision will be wicked cool.

If this episode "Odeyssey", takes place moths after the Season 7 Finale then why the heck would Lana return?!? There's just no point of it to me. It be Stupid because Clark is moving on with his life now she really hurt him badly.

@Super_Kara_2008: I guess they will bring her back because there will a conversation between her and Clark where both agreeing to be friends and their love attachment is over once for all. And they could develop a real friendship between her and Clark as a nod what they will in the future when Clark is Superman. I guess, Lana won't return in the first seven/eight episodes because Kristin is still doing her movie and Smallville will produce the first episodes next Monday.

I will be every intrigued to see how Welling looks with a beard onscreen, as I've only seen him clean-shaven in other movies and TV SHows.

It'll be one interesting premiere, I'll say that much.

....... I just thought of something..... because of the style of how Welling's hair grows out......... in twenty years... he could be the new Dr. Brown....... visions.

I wouldn't want to see Clark with a beard in the Season 8 Premiere episode because it would be like he was pining over Lana from the break up and wasn't taking care of his self.
