I'm gonna say no. But how awesome would it be to see Welling with a beard onscreen?

I mean, I've seen it in interviews but how awesome would it be to see it in Smallville? I think it'd be pretty rockin.

Its the Justice League. Lana left Clark and Chloe is under arrest. I think for months Clark and Lex are missing. That brings the JLA to Smallville to find out why. I think first Chloe is bailed out of jail by Ollie. Then Chloe works with the JLA to find Clark.

Nice Tom's a Baseball Fan, and I wonder if that pic was taken this summer?

Tom is HUGE in that pic. Those that say he wouldn't be perfect in the tights need to take a look at this picture. He'd be more convincing as The Man of Steel than Routh was. Seriously, Routh looked like some kid at halloween wearing one of those cheeseball muscle-suit Superman costumes.

No, it wasn't. The pic is two years old.

He is a little less beard pic from Tom. It's a promo still pic from the movie"The Fog"

I think we will not see him having a beard but it would be cool if we could.

ok I'm sure this question has been answered before many many times, but here I go.

can superman use a razor? scissors to cut his hair? or even clippers for his nails? and would they take the time to explain it on the show or would it be "assumed" that it is not anything special

sorry for my stupidity if this is common knowledge...i am far from common.

Remember in "Spell"....*SHUDDER*.........in "Spell" when Isobel tried to cut a piece of his hair. The scissors broke apart in her hand. Does that mean he needs to use his own strength to cut his hair?...

Remember Superman The Animated Series, he used heat-vision against a mirror to his chin.

...and if I remember correctly, Derek said in one of the episodes Clark was going to shave with his heat vision, but they didn't do it for some reason.

Don't mean to stray from the Welling with a beard discussion, because it's awesome. Very Happy

But some new spoilers for season 8's premiere were posted today:
-The "Researcher," "Scientist," and "Guard" roles are involved with Chloe's storyline.
- When Clark returns to Metropolis, he'll have a big surprise for Lois.

These interest me and give me hope for the coming season.

In an issue of Superman from back when he was Superman Blue he went to shave one morning with a huge piece of scrap metal...but because he was pure energy the scrap got electrically charged and flew out of his hand and into the wall. Anywho, the point is that in that instance he just used a big piece of metal.

Clark asking Lois if she wanna be his witness for the Clark/Shelby wedding. Laughing Now for real, I think it could be something to do with Clark and the Daily Planet i.e. Clark has sent his application to the Daily Planet. Smile

Interesting. Smile

Craig also wrote a hint for the Clark's rescuer(s) in his forums.

Quote:
The "surprising rescuer(s)" is a person (or persons) you've seen on the series before, and not someone inconsequential like "Lex's assistant Regan" or anything like that.

It's not "Aunt Nell and Gabe Sullivan" either, before anyone asks.

And the director is reaveled. It is Kevin Fair. He directed one episode before - Siren.
