If Christian Bale was in this universe........ then my two favorite superhero entities will make my Movie/TV life complete!

it's too soon for Batman to show up, especially if its Christian Bale's Batman. This is simply because right now he is traveling the world and hasn't even became Batman yet.

I think if Smallville ever had Bats on, that would be jumping the shark.

If they had Bruce on, it must only be Bruce. Have him act a little dark, brooding and mysterious, but he can't be Batman.

I vote no Batman/Bruce at all on Smallville. I can see maybe news articles talking about Bruce or maybe Oliver mentions something about having a meeting with somebody from Wayne Enterprises as a nod but to have him actually show up in Smallville/Metropolis is about as crazy as if someone like, I dunno, Doomsday would show up in Smallville. And I couldn't even phathom that occuring... :/

But put into account that this IS SMALLVIILE and what about if Christian Bale was teaching Clark how to be the savior to many people, since now all Clark does is pine about Lana lol.

Bruce is out training to become Batman, he should not be anywhere near Clark right now.

I do agree there should be some sort of nod, like talking about Wayne Enterprise and random stuff like that. But I will flip if Batman OR Bruce Wayne show up.

As much as I would want a Bruce in Smallville, I just can't see it making sense. It would HAVE to be Christian Bale also, so it probably won't happen. But a cool mention or nod to the character would be cool.

I prefer them to meet as Batman and Superman. I always liked the dynamic as they argued about who had the better approach to being a hero. Bruce Wayne right now is out training himself to be the man he is to become. Forcing the character into the Smallville story would cheapen the story of Batman.
Besides... Clark can't meet every hero in the DCu before becoming Superman. That just wouldn't make sense...
