It would be one way of pushing Lana aside, so CK can take an interest in Lois (or Chloe if that's your thing)
If Lana does bite the dust, it will make "Reckoning" seem a little ridiculous.
But, Superman Continuity is out the window on Smallville, folks. Anything can happen. |

i dont really like lana. kristin kreuk is hot but she needs to become a better actress. if she dies oh well. thats not in the comix. shes suppose to marry pete ross and have a child. maybe theres a twist. will just have to see... |

it could be Lana but I don't know if DC comics would allow them to kill off her character, because Lana is such a big part of the Superman myth but SV has changed the story so much already that it wouldn't be much of a stretch to kill Lana off |

I'm on the flipside of that. I think she's a pretty good actress, but not necessarily that hot. Her acting ability has been so good, that she's made me dislike the character of Lana Lang on such a new level.  |
I would imagine that your disdain for her would be more of a writing problem than the actress. But, to each his/her own... |

They have taken some leeway with tweaking the Superman lore, but certainly hope they wouldn't go as strongly as to kill off Lana since she a larger part of the lore - especially with her (in the comics) eventually marrying Pete, etc. |

Nope Lana is but a foot not in the Superman Mythos..If you read the comic like i do..the show gave her more importance than she had..It is time that the writers stop..And i am glad they have recently put her to sleep..heee..Ah no it would not be a streatch to kill her off.Why would it be?
They killed off Lionel<Johnathan and more..Nope i disagree..She has to go...either to France or Married off to Pete ..ether way..she is on her way out..It is about time! |
