According to Wizard Magazine, there's going to be a new color of Kryptonite!

thats the good news

the bad news is that we don't get to know what color and what it does so its gonna be a major surprise.

(in the newest magazine, page 25)

The question is, like u said, which will they do? There's really not much they can do unless they make one up (ala Black-K).

I see foresee one possibility. Gold-K. in the comics, Gold-K does what Blue-K does to Clark in Smallville. SO since they switched that up, they might make Gold-K to have Clark get stronger. Since Gold is the color of the sun . . .

But I dunno. Stay kool either way.

I hope they create a new kind of Kryptonite. It would be kinda anti-climatic for them to bring back an old kind, you know?

And it depends on how much their dealing with the comics. Keep in mind that Gold-K isn't always the same. When Superman travels to Supergirl/Matrix home to help save her planet from the Zod in her world, the Gold-K takes away only their powers, but not his, so who knows.

Maybe this new version of Kryptonite will possibly explain issues with Kara if it turns out to not be Blue-K that took her abilities away.

A new variety of Kryptonite would be cool. I don't know what they could have it do. They have covered most options already.

I remember in the comics Superman being able to make things by thinking about them. Wait, I think that was exposure to violet solar radiation.

They brought Silver K into the Superman/Batman title this month. It caused Superman to "hallucinate" kind of and he saw everyone as distorted somewhat creepy versions of themselves. A slant on what was done with "silver k" in Smallville.

Maybe it will be Pink-K and yes it is real. I think I read that it was in a Supergil comic and it turned straights into homos and visa-versa

At one point in the comics I thought they also had a thing where Blue-K would counteract Red-K, but that was a long time ago if I'm remembering correctly.

And if I'm remembering incorrectly.... it's a moot point. =o)

I wanna say that Mister Mxyzptlk was involved in the particular story line where he created a lump of Red-K that he gave to Lex. But again this was a LONG time ago, so I don't remember the whole premise.

Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite. That storyline was probably 15 years ago. It was created with magic and robbed him of his powers, nothing more. This was back when they wanted to keep everything streamlined and Green K was all that they had.
